A static HOn3 1870s era steam locomotive. Loosely based on the narrow gauge “Glenbrook” which operated in the Lake Tahoe region. This non-operating locomotive is intended as a background model.
Roofing materials are not included with our kits. Suggestions of appropriate roofing are offered in each kit’s instructions but a particular style of roofing is an individual modeller’s choice.
Description
An 1870s era 2-6-0 Mogul-type locomotive loosely based on the “Glenbrook” – which has been restored to operating condition at the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City.
This is a static model intended for background display – perhaps under repair in an engine house? It does not operate nor can it be modified to do so.
The kit consists entirely of 3D-printed resin parts
It is highly recommended a set of jeweler’s files and flush-cut nippers be part of the tool kit for assembling this model.
